Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center, Inc. (IDCC) is a NYS not-for-profit corporation with a 501-c-3 tax exemption from the IRS. The agency’s mission is to provide the highest quality behavioral health services and diagnostic and treatment to our community and those in need of aid. We are strongly committed to recognizing patients’ need and enhancing the quality of life for children, adults and seniors. Further, we respect and accommodate each individual’s and family’s cultural heritage, religious beliefs and values. Throughout its history, IDCC has responded to the needs of community residents by expanding services and co-locating health care with a wide range of behavioral treatments and supports.
Over our history, we have developed culturally and linguistically appropriate adaptations to engage residents of our service area, especially those who have complex service needs and barriers to accessing care. Our treatment approach is to incorporate evidence-based practices in a therapeutic environment that assures at all times personal dignity, respect for the rights of patients, and sensitivity to the ethnic, linguistic and cultural background of our patient population.
