Together with the New York City Administration for Children Services and the foster care system our efforts are aimed at family reunification or transition toward adoption. Our ethnically diverse staff works with biological caretakers and/or foster parents, schools and, as needed.

Services developed for older adults experiencing the emotional stress of aging. We provide individual, group, and family counseling. Support groups are available to relatives and significant others caring for someone with chronic illness.

Trauma Treatment

Many newly arrived immigrants suffer from depression, stress, and anxiety during their transition to American life. It is common for first and second-generation immigrants to experience intergenerational stressors. Our multi-cultural psychiatrists and therapists are trained to address the needs of immigrants by providing psychotherapy, and medication.

Trauma Treatment

Interborough is on-site at over 20 schools throughout Brooklyn, providing licensed clinical care to children in need of these services. In addition to being convenient for children seeking care, it helps relieve some of the stigma associated with mental illness.
